    WHERE IT BEGAN

    LIFE BEFORE ALONGY

    Alongy started with my own dog, a Japanese Spitz who had always been active, energetic and full of life.

    For years, movement was something I never had to think about - until everything changed.

    WHEN THINGS CHANGED

    MOVEMENT WAS NO LONGER EASY

    When she turned 8, standing up became difficult, walks became uncomfortable, and movement no longer looked effortless.

    That’s when I knew I needed to find out what was happening.

    SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS

    MONTHS OF TESTS, STILL NO CLEAR ANSWER

    We went through MRI scans, neurological examinations, spinal checks, medications and countless tests.

    I spent thousands trying to understand what was wrong, but even after months of treatment, I still did not have a clear answer.

    That’s when I started looking beyond one solution.

    LEARNING DAY BY DAY

    I STARTED LOOKING AT THE BIGGER PICTURE

    I began learning about nutrition, joint-supporting ingredients, movement, body weight, recovery and daily routines.

    I introduced collagen and other nutritional ingredients while changing the way I supported her movement.

    Little by little, she began moving more comfortably and enjoying everyday life again.

    That experience changed everything for me.

    By combining what I had learned, I was able to help my dog regain her movement, confidence and joy.

    That’s when I decided to turn what I had learned through that journey into thoughtful everyday support for other dogs.

    THE MEANING BEHIND THE NAME

    ALONG YOU, THROUGH LIFE

    The name Alongy comes from a simple idea: along you.

    Our dogs stay beside us through life. And when they become older, slower or need more help, it becomes our turn to stay beside them.

    That is what Alongy represents - companionship in both directions.
